Delfi Technologies also develops software solutions based on RFID technology. RFID technology is used to identify objects using radio waves that communicate between a “tag”—which is attached to the object, for example in clothing, packages, etc.—and a reader. The communication between the RFID reader and the tag (sometimes also called a transponder) can go both ways, and most tag types can be read and written to.

RFID is used to track, locate, and identify various types of objects, such as products in production, clothing, or food items.
